OMG, how funny would it have been for the video to have failed. Ah, for the days when you had to load media to record... "But, I thought I had pressed record!" "Lucy, you have some 'splainin' to do!".

It wouldn't have broken if it was on his wrist when he did that, I vote he try again.

Why is everyone getting so upset about this? He chose to break his Watch Edition, rather than wear it. What about that is bothering everyone enough to justify calling him retarted, brainless o'r an idiot, for example.

Others also seem to enjoy the entertainment too, based on the like:dislike ratio being close to 17:1 (according to the screenshot someone posted).

Because some people don't see the point of senseless waste.

Is this the same guy who got a PS3 on launch day, immediately went out to the line of people waiting to get theirs and took a sledgehammer to it?

Usually I just laugh off these videos but this was kinda dumb. Even getting a few million views won't pay back the cost of that Apple Watch Edition. Is it possible to use Apple Care to cover something like that? Could he get away with that? The views could cover $1000 or whatever it costs.

I realize that millions of dollars are wasted on needless extravagance or discards every day and that people are free to do as they wish with their money. But how great would it have been if this guy had posted a video announcing that he had planned to buy an expensive Apple watch and destroy it, but decided to donate it to a charity instead?

I'm guessing YouTube is his job and that he regularly uploads videos to earn an income. Are people really expecting him to donate the money he spends for his YouTube videos to charity instead? If he did, there would be no videos, no income and then no possible money to donate to charity in the future.
