My advice is to archive install. Every time I've had a problem with an update, the archive/install and then update fixed it. Not sure why the combined updates work better than the individual ones, but there you have it.

3) Most annoying one for me. Every time I try and use pathfinder in adobe illustrator (tool for merging or clipping shapes for the unillustrative) with anything more complex than 2 rectangles, it crashes. Previous to 10.4.8 it worked perfectly.

Yeah, same for me (not had any airport issues thou). Illustrator is just falling on its ass as soon as I look at the pathfinder tool. Going to try a archive install tomorrow.
