I have this delivery window too, there’s a good chance you’ll get your items faster. I’ve ordered from Apple the last 3 years & they always come through. That’s not to say it’s a sure thing, but judging from past launches I’m staying positive.
I have 1 watch arriving for my wife 9/21 (I have tracking), and mine with the 10/5-10/12 delivery window. Hoping to see some orders getting bumped up after launch.
Bought 2 watches. 40mm in silver aluminum for the wife and a 44mm SBSS for me. Got a text notification today Sept 20 at 1pm Pacific time from my AMEX card that it was charged for $79.00 from Apple. Looked online and I am seeing the 40mm watch “preparing to ship” status. The 40mm watch was in the October 5 - 12 window and the 44mm is still in the previous status and in the October 12 - 19 delivery window.
My card was charged and my status was change to"preparing to ship". i hope to get it sat!
Also waiting on a 44mm SBSS with an Oct 5-12 delivery window. No changes thus far, but it seems like a lot of people are seeing their orders ship sooner than estimated.

I'm right there with ya. Lots of people seeing early shipments gives me hope, but at the same time I feel like the gold SS Milanese is in really short supply. Haven't seen it available for pickup once (back when that was still available) and very very few shipments of them. The latest order time I saw see any changes was xx:10
Yeah, I was waffling on what watch to get and didn't get my order in till 3:30 EST. That's part of the problem. I'm probably at the very back of the Oct 5 group.
Yeah I didn't even know I'd be able to get one until 3pm and then realized I wouldn't get charged until I already had the cash at 8pm. Im at the end of 12-19 I'm sure. 15-something happened next day.
My 44mm Gold SS just changed to preparing to ship! My confirmation email was at 2:11 AM central time. I actually had a 9/28 delivery range until the confirmation page when it slipped to 10/5.
I also just got my gold iPhone Xs and the color is AMAZING. I can't wait to see it on a watch. Coming from a S3 watch in space black which I really liked as well.

Oh wow congrats! What band? I’m 40mm Gold SS with Milanese. Really hoping for an update today or tonight.
The stone sport band. Since you can't buy that one separately I thought I would get that one and get the milanese later if I wanted.
Yeah I had thought about doing that, but I actually already have a sport band that I really like and it’s cheaper to get it with the Milanese than the Apple Watch and the Milanese so I went with just Milanese. Thought there’d be less demand for it.
Annoyed mine hasn’t moved and there’s no activity on my credit card. 10/2-10/5
I second this. People with a 10/12-19 date shouldn't have gotten movement before you. That's ridiculous.
2 of my watches with 10/5 - 10/12 delivery dates have moved into "Preparing to Ship" on Apple, and both have been charged.

Nice. Mine is still processing. Ii’ll probably just go to the Apple Store on Friday and pick one up if they have some stock.
