You are absolutely right about ONLY having to include entries for four finger gestures. It doesn't make any sense to also include the "secondary corner click" rule for non-unibody MBP's and early 2008 MBA's.

I will edit will edit the Info.plist in the package attached to my first post as soon as possible.

Thank you for your insights!

(By the way, how did you know which WSTrackpad was associated with your hardware? And on the note; what is your hardware? Do you know with what hardware the other WSTrackpad are associated?)

Well, actually you CAN activate corner clicks - it just means you have to hold your finger at the bottom right when you click the button. It works, but I don't see the real necessity for it.

I experimented with the entries.

When adding in the TrackpadFourFingerGestures into all the entries with no number (Ansi, iso and the third one, I can't remember), it takes away my preferences, but adding to JUST the second one (again, all the iso, anis etc - I haven't tried only one of these options) gives me the ability.

I presume (though I could be wrong), that maybe the 1st entry is the MacBook Airs, the first macbooks with 3+ multitouch, tehe 2nd is the early 2008 MBP, and the third the new MB and MB (these already have the entries associated)?

Done. I updated the package in the first post. I to have now the MBA Trackpad video in my System Preferences.

Thanks again!

I did this last night, and it worked like a charm. Thank you kindly.

The toughest part I had (I am new to Macs) was "unzipping" the darn thing. I downloaded the unarchiver, and it said it couldn't handle the file. I was just not paying attention, because Safari or OSX just unzipped it for me, and the file was already uncompressed in my downloads folder.

*shakes fist*

Apple! Making things too easy for me. :D

Worked like a charm. Thank you!!!!! I never thought how useful this would be, until I used it. Same was true with the three finger swipe too.

They should have the sideways one be spaces instead of an alternative to alt-tab.

Maybe they will make it some type of user preferences eventually.

And this thread should be a sticky!

Agree with you on both points. I wish side-to-side four-finger swipe was spaces, especially since I seem to be using it more and more lately. I also thing this thread should be stickied. I ended up having issues getting four-finger gestures to work until I found this thread.

I agree, 4 Finger for Expose feels very natural and works a treat. I don't really use 4 finger sideways, i prefer apple-tab for that, so i agree that it should be programmable.

Funny. After installing the new RAW updater, my 4 finger gestures disappeared again.

That is funny indeed.

I also installed the new RAW updater and my 4 finger gestures are still working perfectly fine.
