The pencil slot on the sleeve looks like it gets in the way when you remove the iPad from the sleeve.

Not having a Smart Case is a deal breaker for me. I'll wait until some nice 3rd party cases are available. A sleeve is stupid and I have no use for it. I could buy the Logi keyboard case and get the coverage plus a keyboard for the same price. Ridiculous!

I bet you're right. It just seems so crazy to expect people to buy a sleeve and a Smart Keyboard. I guess Apple just expects people to carry the keyboard cover separately? If I wanted to do that I would just carry my old Apple bluetooth keyboard around.
might as well just carry around a cheap sleeve with the keyboard.

maybe the smart cover will fit in it though?

I was kind of hoping that the Smart Keyboard cover would fit in the sleeve as i'm thinking of getting the smart keyboard this time around because of more serious thinking in regards to the new iPad Pro being my laptop replacement. But i'm not so sure it will fit in the sleeve with that bulky Keyboard cover :(

Can confirm, the 12.9" iPad Pro with the Smart Keyboard fits inside the sleeve although snugly. Since the sleeve is made of leather, I'm sure that with use the snugness won't be as bad although because of the Smart Keyboard cover material, there will probably still be some friction. I actually like the combination and purchased the pencil, keyboard, sleeve and new iPad Pro (will receive it next week). The $$ adds up so quickly though!

Thanks for the reply. This is great to hear. Will be adding the sleeve to my order. Thanks again.

I know it's a big ask but could you possibly share a few pictures?

I purchased the 10.5" Pro, Pencil, Smart Keyboard, and the Leather case in black. I received the leather case, pencil, and keyboard for the 10.5" pro so far, iPad Pro 10.5" comes on Tuesday. I am still using the 9.7" pro I have for now until it sells with the 10.5" Pro Keyboard case. Here are some pictures.

"How can we double our profit on covers?" they must have said.

I paid $80 for a leather Apple cover that protected both the front and the back of my iPad Air 2, what a great cover! I now replaced my iPad Air with the iPad Pro and found this Apple product does not exist for the iPad Pro. You have to buy a $80 magnetic cover that protects the front and if you want to protect the back (and the protruding camera lens), you better buy this sleeve as well. Ridiculous!:mad:
