I really doubt I would experience any improvements if I updated from my current iOS 17 or even 18 that has already been a mess

Ios26 noticeably slowed things down, so I'd say this is just putting things back to where they should have been in the first place.

This is a nice little touch as it's slightly annoying when it closes and you're not finished checking notifications. Even better would be a user defined time option for it to fall asleep but I'll take this.
