Or be prepared to face revolt from those who have a 15 year old car.

I should've inserted "new cars". Yes old cars are usually grandfathered, but just like all cars nowadays use lead-free gas, airbags, power-steering, etc. improvements in car tech are always phased in. My intent was to say, that in 10 years, you probably won't be able to license a NEW vehicle without self-driving automation built-in. Sometime after that operator driven cars will be limited then excluded from inner-cities, suburbs, and so forth until you can only use them on specialized tracks or admire them in museums.

I don't think there's any correlation between the removal of the headphone jack and a decline in sales. The market is overly saturated right now for all smartphone manufacturers and not as many people are upgrading.
I think it is the fact that there was ton of pent up demand for a larger phone and many people (including myself) were holding out for it to come. I held onto my 4s for an extra year in hopes of a larger iPhone.

The sales charts pretty much show the same thing. 2015 was outside of their normal growth trends. 2016 was much better than 2014 and was on the same line of growth, but 2015 was an outlier.

You're wrong and not knowledgeable enough to understand why.

Well time will tell. Musk is a changing multiple industries with revolutionary products. He's brought the car industry forward by at least 10 years, made space travel cheap, and revolutionised an online payment system worth over 40 billion. Add that to solar city, hyperlink, the infastructer built for tesla and all the new technologies and novel manufacturing process and you've got the Edison of our time. I think time will show your not so bright yourself pal!

Apple used to be such an exiting company before grampa Tim took over.

As I said, you don't know enough to make him the Edison of our time. He never invented anything and most of his companies are giant investor traps burning money. He ruined the car industry and killed the electric car. Hyperloop is a hoax and far from a new technology. The idea was abandoned a long time ago, because it is uneconomical and infeasible. Paypal is just a piece of software, ebay made it big.
