Why the hell was OP's post voted down? He just posted a real-world experience and included physical evidence. Don't be a blind fanatic. Even Apple admits to these flaws.

I don't care about "votes" - I also now realize after being a victim myself that no product on this planet is flawless regardless of how much money you paid for the item.

Apple has higher standards of quality than any other company who makes the same stuff but these days, the apple quality has been SUBSTANDARD. I believe it's all due to increasing PROFIT MARGINS while trying to stay within absolute limits of product failure but that line gets crossed so much with each apple product released; it seems this way nowadays.

There are so many apple fanatics but that's OK - but to deny a product has flaws (such as yellowing/color tinting issues) is just plain dumb. Just because you do not witness such flaws yourself does not mean it doesn't exist.

If I did not make a video, many here will respond: "you need your eyes checked", "the pixels are so small, it's not an issue", "people just chill, it'll go away in a week", "it's working within limits", etc.

Well, the bottom-line is you paid so much money for an apple product and you deserve their quality QA. I don't know how you make your money, but for me the money does not come easy and when I flop down nearly $900 after tax to pay for a computer gadget, I'm damn sure going to make sure I get 100% satisfaction.

I cannot believe the people on this forum who is just in denial. The magnifying glass (or you can call it a loupe) is used to video tape the entire stuck pixels. There's more than 100 of them if you want to guestimate.

Do you guys think I haven't thought this through before going to an apple store to return this for a replacement? I don't just waltz into the store and demand a new one because I "feel" there's a defective screen issue. I gather up as much evidence I need to prove without a doubt that there is a warranted issue here.

It's also visible enough because of the density of those stuck pixels when viewing the iPad and it's close enough to the center axis to be noticed. Do you notice this when it's playing a movie? I will say NO because the movie frames move so fast, you can't make anything out stuck or not.

I did not write this post to ASK anyone literally - I'm not stupid enough not to go return for a working unit. The biggest complaint I have isn't because I can see it daily, it's the fact I know there are 100+ stuck pixels and down the road when my warranty expires and something else goes wrong with the screen, I'm going to be screwed out of $299 + tax for a non-warranty replacement.

I have a 1080p version of this video which is even clearer - just when I posted it at the time I used my iPad to upload to youtube and it isn't of highest quality. I've also returned the unit and my new one has no stuck pixels I can see.

In closing, I'd rather you people who respond either think before you post and actually stop for a second and understand you may not have this problem, but many other people do and it's REAL. If it were one or even 10 stuck pixels, I don't mind. But this is not 10. And how can you keep a ~$900 piece of machinery only after receiving it 4 days and live with this defective product?

If you can live with it, then you obviously don't think about your money spent.
