Haha yep totally could. And so could I now that it’s mine. But selling takes time especially when your in Alaska and trying to sell a highend labtop. Your not calling anyone out just making yourself look silly. Oh well hope you score someday might lighten you up a little.
not gonna lie geographic location makes a huge difference, if i try sell high end stuff in rural place i would have to lower my price like crazy to make it work.

Ah, see the location explains a lot... I thought it seemed low, but now knowing the more remote location he is selling from explains a bit of the low price. In my experience rural locales are a lot hardy to sell in and you have to sell cheaper than in bigger metropolitan cities.

In any case, congrats on your new computer, that seriously is one heck of a steal you got! Count me as jealous. Lol

That's a great deal. Enjoy the MacBook. I'd just be careful about eating around it since crumbs can cause issues. I'm a fan of the RadTech Keyboard covers for when you are traveling with a laptop. Keeps the keyboard off the screen and also keeps debris away from the keyboard.

Yeah, Maine is like that.

I found a 2014 MBP 15 Maxxed out locally asking $950. I'd love a 1 TB system. I'd prefer a 2015 but I'm thinking of making an offer on this one of $800. It's a major city so it might not work but no risk, no reward.

just FYI
the MBP with the special needs keyboard came out late 2016

I stumbled across a used MacBook Pro 15 inch 2017 model for $1000. Has a 2.9, 512 hdd, and the 560 video card. I’m not really needing a lab top at the moment but will be with the next year. He just bought it in August 2018 so still under warranty and can purchase AppleCare. He is tossing in a bunch of usb-c cables as well. Good deal? Hold off? Will mostly be used for photo/video work. Then light use for school. Seems they are selling well over that on eBay.
Buy it now.
