Is the 1080p 30fps video captured on the front facing camera identical in quality to the 1080p 30fps video captured on the rear camera?

JPack macrumors P6 Oct 25, 2018 #2 No, the front camera has a much smaller sensor (1.0 um pixel pitch) compared to the wide angle rear camera. Image quality and contrast will be significantly better using the rear camera.
