Update - was in the Apple store for 3 hours yesterday and they basically told me I was **** out of luck unless I just returned the phone. They couldn’t give me a replacement any time soon, even though they agreed it looked to be a manufacturer defect.

This morning I called Verizon and told them my situation. They’re sending me a brand new phone in a few weeks and they’ll send me a return kit so I can send this one back when I receive the new one.
Did you purchase the phone through Apple or through Verizon? I believe you need to return it through where you got it from. If it's through Apple, I'm to sure how Verizon is going to accept this as a return??

Got it through Verizon.

Not true at all. Apple themselves uses alcohol wipes to clean the screens. I've used them for years...
OP stated it was liquor, so he was not referring to isopropyl alcohol...I myself am not aware of what something like liquor may do to a screen, I'm sure it depends on the proof of the liquor as well...

Pretty sure that wouldn’t be my first time touching my phone with some Tito’s on my hands. Must be some powerful stuff

Lol wasn't insinuating you did it, it was a general statement regarding what kind of damage liquor may do to the screen, and yea the proof would have something to do with it logically..
