iPod 12.4.3.1 FAILS to recognize iPhone 5c

The most basic function of iTunes is to recognize all ipods and iphones so you can add music....and the Geek Developers seem to not get that right either....I think iTunes needs a brand new Developer who knows the K.I.S.S. concept......I have no idea what to do now...this problem came up with this new version.

Mac of course....I just bought two Apple branded Lighting cables....it could have been another Apple confederate products..I tried the second cable and now it works. I think the cables, though in an Apple box were just one of thousands of Chinese knockoff's....these people have no business ethics.
