There are a couple of different videos in this thread showing it and if you had it you'd probably notice it. Odd, the random nature of it.
I will try to look at them. You the Software background nature of me is wondering what makes it happen. I assume you have the same itch :D.

Yeah, I'm a retired s/w-h/w engineer and problems like these really intrigue me and I like to dig into what I can as a hobby. Problem is the limited debugging ability with the phone.
I am not retired but it still intrigues me :D. Yes, plus not sure we have a lot of data points or scenarios to check/go through.

So issue is fixed or not some people says it is over no lag smooth some... after update B5 have problems with lag.
Im guessing that apple don't cleanup code after they make a changes... so fingers crossed on RC build.
Thats really frustrating that they can't fix it i wonder why really only iphones 12 series have this problem. Maybe its true that they can't write a proper code on A14 Bionic or whatever else.

If anyone have Mac you can run console app :
Code Block
error 17:38:41.087985-0700 runningboardd RBSStateCapture remove item called for untracked item <RBProcessMonitorObserver| qos:0 qos:(null) configs:{
}>
The runningboardd is IOS Active Process Manager btw.
When you try to fill ram Ios try to clean ram and thats why see stutter.

PS. i read from Apple Dev site that someone post it.

Can 100% guarantee stutter is still there on beta 5, just happened now while opening safari. 😔
If its only safari then they need clean up code (or apple system apps).
Apple emloyee see's thats problem of RunningBoard so if they fixed on beta 2/3/4 they testing code on beta 5.
Only RC is final release for us because rarely apple changes something on RC and then public this.

Happening in other apps as well. 🤷‍♂️ Guess we wait for RC

So you mean that the issue depends on the model or I understood you wrong?
Theoretically yes this model varation is only for 5G/LTE different bands country but... i suspect that problem that apple don't optimize other A24XX models.

Ok sorry for my stupid question but as far as I know there are models with UW 5G antenna and there are models without this antenna. Right?

I am asking because the phones in my country are definitely without the 5G antenna and I wonder if there is some connection or not. For what is worth my model is A2407.

Given that I am in Europe it totally makes sense to be A2407 :). Thanks for the info!

Absolute rubbish. Model number makes no difference to this issue. They still have the same specs.

Im not saying This IS a model issue im writing im SUSPECT that models aren't optimized.
So what you think what cause a problem that 2 people on same beta 5 have this issue other don't.

I’m on the latest version of the beta — 14.5 (18E5186a) — and stutter hasn't come back for me. No winding up in App Switcher or any stutter at all.
