Seems pretty standard now for Apple. Make a "Pro" feature, wait three years, make the pedestrian device have that feature. We saw it with the iPad Pro in 2018 in both design and the Apple Pencil, we saw it with the retina iMac back in the day, and the Apple Watch lineup with the sensors and screen size of the SE vs the "Series #" models.

Is this satire? A roadmap? My two year old $300 android has 120Hz.

Before you $aapl holders start hounding me no I don't hate Apple, I love my MBP. Sometimes they're laughable though.

Unfortunately they would rather have you as the sucker buying a more expensive Pro model which seems to be the role the 14 Plus played, getting people to move up to the more expensive Pro. It would be nice if Apple merged the regular and Pro into one model with all of the bells and whistles like in the past to avoid the feature “rationing” that they felt they had to do with ProMotion for far too long.
