Oh thank heavens we now have a place to discuss this! Why didn't someone make a thread like this before?

My friend has an uncle who's daughter's friend's father works for apple as an engineer (toilet engineer) who overheard steve jobs telling tim cook that the new iphone will be magical.

I don't care (yes I do care but I want to admit that I care like crazy.. ) about those rumors..
I believe in redesign. shiny and pretty and cool and awesome. like every new products from apple. :)

I know Tim Cook's daughters husbands fathers uncles brothers dog-sitter and he said the iPhone 6 will have a touchscreen.

Agreed... I am just hoping that with everything that happened with the iPhone 4 leak they are being extra secretive.

Your poll backs up what I have been saying for a while now.... Just posted this in another thread but it is just as relevant here...

Why does a redesign determine whether it is a "4s" or a "5"?

The iPhone looked pretty much the same for 3 generations. The iPhone 4 had a very new look. Aside from a larger screen what is the actual point of a redesign? I don't care if it's redesigned or not, I am more interested in what's inside the phone. Specs mean more than looks to me, especially when I am dropping $300.

Your poll has two identical descriptions for "4s" and "5".

Because when we say "4S" the general consensus is a phone that looks just like the 4 with bumped internals. They can very well release that device, but call it the iPhone 5. Thus, the two separate options.

People need to stop getting so hung up over the name of the phone - like it really matters. They could release an iPhone 4S that has a 4 inch screen with a thinner design.

I'm guessing the iPhone 4s for $99, the iPhone 5 for $199, and then one more thing would be iPods

iPhone 4, iPhone 4s,and iPhone 5 will be unveiled.

But iPhone 5 wont be sold until 2012
