Hmmmm.... Black or White?

I had the Black iPhone 4 up until today (sold it for $400 to get the iPhone 4S) and I liked it. But I was thinking about getting the white model this time around. Can you guys tell me what you do and/or don't like about the white and black iPhones you have? I'm just not sure about any pros/cons about them. Thanks!

been thinking about this.

un-covered phones - most are black. 80% of the time, I leave my 3GS uncovered because I like that it's sleeker/thinner without a case. An uncovered white 4S will at least look different. Covered, it doesn't matter the color of the phone, it's all about the case.

Another one of these?? There's been one ever since the 3G... guess what? If you like black, get black. If you like white, get white. Simple.

How did you manage to sell yours for $400? I can't find anyone who will buy it for $350, and I don't want to get stuck with $276 from eBay instant sell
 
I'm riding with white because I don't want the "stock" look.
Yes, I'm a bit superficial about my pending iPhone, but I also look forward to taking excellent care of it. And who doesn't want to have something cool to look at, considering all the money we put into these things?
 
Scratches? My phone (black) doesn't have a scratch on it.

For the person who said if you like white, get white, etc., there is such a thing as liking both, you know.

IDK. Mine also had a scratch on it. I put it up on craigslist and said I need to sell it today. It was the Black 16GB AT&T model, which seems to sell better than Verizon's models.

White for me this time. So I had a Black 3G, a White 3GS, a Black IPhone 4 and now a White 4s. Cycles people :D

Don't forget you can get any backplate colour you want from Ebay or Sw-Box to customise. I'm thinking of a White/Blue combo!

Do you feel the display "pops" more in the black iphone than white? Or is it same?
 
I have always had black iPhones and iPod touches so I will be picking up white.

Plus it will make the 4S much more like a new phone to me. :p

I've seen a White IP4 screen and it doesn't really change anything for me. I thought about that myself, whether it would be off putting to view the screen with a White border but it's fine.

Thanks for your response, that my only concern with the white phone, since all i have in the past was black. And to the 20 minutes playing with white phone in Apple store didnt give me the answer.

Remember this is the first phone to offer a white front and back. I kind of thought it wouldn't look good but after I held one i think it looks awesome.

There's something about White electronics I've always liked. I'm kind of sad they didn't offer different colours for the phone like the IPod Nano.
 
I have always had black, 3g, 3gs, and 4. I really think I am going to get a 64gb White this time around. The only thing that concerns me is you can see a little black border at the edge of the screen. I understand my black phone has the exact same border but it blends in with the black front and you really can't tell its there. The white makes it stick out more. Decisions, Decisions... Although its not much to change it to black if I hate it.
