Hmmmm.... Black or White?

I like both, too. I decided that if I order online, I'm going to get black and if I wait and buy it in store, I'll take a look at both of them before I pick. I'm leaning towards black though, since it will match my laptop. White doesn't get any scratches though (well, you just can't see them). My iPod Nano 1st generation is completely covered with scratches and abuse, but it still looks brand new when not held at an angle in direct light.

I think the black matches the screen better. You can't see the black border you can see with the white.

Well, you don't really need a case at all with white or black. They'll both scratch / get damaged. White is a bit more unnoticeable though.
I wanted to know if it strained the eyes with the white border, or if it looked dirtier quicker, or if it scratched easier. I suppose you have never asked an opinion on these forums?

It's kind of a tough decision when you like both.
I wanted to go w/ white this time around, but it seems to be VERY popular in this thread so far. I have a tendency to go against the flow, so I might have to get black, again.
Hmmm, should I get the white that 52 million others will buy or should I go with black that only 28 million others will buy?

Another thing to consider, in favor of white, is fingerprints. I have never really investigated this for myself, but I'm sure white is FAR less likely to show all your finger smudges/prints on the surface when compared to black.
I had both the black and white iP4s. I think I'm going black again after having white. The white shows dirt build-up in crevices much easier than the black. Of course, the glass doesn't/"can't" get dirty so that wasn't an issue. The contrast of the phone color with the screen was no different to me on either devices. Another good thing about the white is scratches really don't show at all.

If I never owned a white shirt and I didn't know how easily they stained, then yea - I would appreciate the advice. And in the post you created, you asked for peoples OPINIONS on multiple options that were available to you.... I am doing the same thing. Seriously, don't comment in the thread if your gonna just be a dick. Enough said.

I've owned both the Black iPhone 4 and the White iPhone 4 (I'm a Guy)...I'll just tell you this - get the Black one if you're a guy TRUST ME. IDK the White one does seem like a girl phone in hand.

Exactly. I'm using an old white 3gs that I saved for backup because I sold my black ip4. It doesn't look right for a guy imo.

I originally wanted a white iPhone 4, but that wasn't an option last summer. So this time, I'm going for it! I don't care if it's feminine, white is just my color of choice, dammit!
