This is great for those Youtube comedians who usually shoot videos themselves. This would prevent the need for calling a friend over just to move a camera.

Yeah. I wish there was a way for the device (through the dock connector) to actually sense what was in the frame, a la iPhoto's face detection. Or maybe an IR sensor could detect movement. But it seems silly to have a separate (ugly) gadget to wear. The company probably went that route because that made it easy for any mobile device to work with it.
