I have a 6 Plus and an iPad Mini 2, and if given the choice I reach for my Mini rather than my 6 Plus. I don't carry my Mini with me outside the home, so it's just around the house the iPad gets used more.

A Mini is closer in size to a 6 Plus than an Air, so you're probably all the more likely to reach for your iPad if given the choice, so no I don't think a 6 Plus will make you use your iPad less.

TBO, I don't know how strong it is. But from my feeling, I know it's impossible to bend it inside my pocket. And I have confident that my 6+ can survive if I accidentally drop it on the ground.

IMO, this case is not build for extereme protection, but a good balance between protection, design, hand grab, etc.

If only consider the case's structural strength, I will give it at least 80 out of 100. It's possible to break it, but I don't think that will happen under normal situation.

Ah okay, thanks for that. :)

Good information coming from someone who has the 6+ and Mini. ::thumbs up::

Would the fact that I have an iPad Air make my decision lean more towards the 6 than the 6+? In other words, would I underuse the iPad Air if I owned such a large device?
Depends on your usage and preferences, really.

For me, not at all. I much prefer my 9.7" iPads over the 6 Plus particularly for web browsing which is my most common usage.

iPhone 6. I'm about 10gb from filling my 128gb, I keep all my music on it but use iCloud photos and stream videos when I can. It's surprising how quickly it can fill.

I'd go for the 6+ for it's camera stabilisation, but I found it way too big to carry in my pocket.

Why do you think the 6 is a better phone necessarily?
I think as a 'phone' it is more wieldy. The iPhone 6 plus' screen doesn't increase its function in comparison to the 6, but trades away portability and one handed usability. Both, to me, are quite necessary functions on a 'phone'.
In saying that, I'm a tech geek and I view a 'phone' as a 'toy' as well.
battery life doesnt concern me too much, I always end up putting my phone on the night stand at the end of the work day with juice left.

I now have my 6+ and my 5s has my work sim in it. No way I could use a smaller screen for my main phone anymore. I'd probably figure out how to get by on 32 gb if I had to to have a bigger screen.

My iPhone 6 plus is a lemon, but I could not go smaller again

How so ? And, if it really is, why not have it replaced at the Apple store ( unless, you've had it replaced and the new unit is just as bad ? )

I get random freezing , where the phone will not respond between 10-20 seconds. Just google iPhone 6 freezing, quite a few threads.

Going back for another appointment at Apple Store this week.
