Honestly you probably only need the 64gb if you plan to store a little music, a decent amount of apps, and some pictures and videos. I find 128gb overkill unless you never delete anything.

I have about 2000 songs on my iPhone, 100+ videos, and 1500 pictures on my 64GB iPhone and I still have about 30GB left. So I definitely think 64GB is the sweet spot for the majority of the population.

I went with 128GB 6S+, mainly because on launch day the store had 8 Plus, 7 16GB and only one 128GB apparently. Wanted the 64GB but it was a haywire at the store, they weren't organized so you had to picked whichever they brought out at the moment.

Back on topic. Like they say: the more the merrier. In this case I'm glad I got the 128GB model, we recently bought a Canon T6i with Wi-Fi and it has been a bliss, taking 1080p videos, photos, and 4K on the iPhone without worrying about storage. I can just throw anything at the phone storage-wise. I am now at 90GB of free space, but this is coming from a guy who has been using 16GB for a long time.

I'm confused by this. He is getting the 6S

Yeah, I read the post wrong. I have edited my post to remove my stupidity. I'm dyslexic and sometimes when I'm tired I make dumb mistakes. I thought he was getting the 6 over the 6s

Thanks for heads up.

I went with the 128gb version this time don't have to worry about space, I find my self taking more and more videos so the larger storage will come in handy. i am hopeing next year apple brings in the yearly upgrade option like they have in the US

Well I would like to thank everyone for the help. I opted for the 128GB. I like the thought of never worrying about it again. Will I ever use it all? We will see. But I would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks again!

I think you made the right choice. I had the same dilemma myself but the thing that tipped me into getting the 128GB was discovering that using Live Photo meant photos take up a lot more space. I really love the Live Photo feature and with plenty of space to play with I can leave it on all the time.

Thank you :) I'm still getting used to all of this storage - normally I'm apprehensive to save music to my phone because I was worried about space. Now I don't know what to do with myself, which really feels great.

Coming from someone that always gets the 64GB model, I opted for the 128GB this time and its wayyyyyyy more space than I actually need. Its ok because now I don't have to worry about anything and can take all the pics and record all the 4K I want and not have to worry about space. I also tend to travel alot so I can throw a movie or two on the device to watch when flying. I don't regret it one bit.

That was another thing that I thought about. It will be nice to download a couple of movies (or 4) and not even sweat the space. It's a peace of mind thing really.

Yep, I know I will never actually need at 128GBs, but knowing that I will have the phone until the next iPhone comes out, I have a piece of mind with the 128GB. I also attend lots of car shows and like to take a lot of pics and vids so that's another reason why I want the largest capacity.

I went 128G this time for the first time. The bigger image sizes from the camera a potential for even larger moment captures led me to spend an additional $100. It really depends on your intended use.

64GB is the best all around storage for any phone where price might be a factor. Yet for me I can't go less than 128GB. No worrisome issues over space. My iPhone 5 16GB, It got old trying to juggle apps or music. You can't go wrong with 128GB.

I have opted to get rid of my iPad and instead use my plus and my MacBook. Due to that, my phone is my portable video player, book reader, etc and I opted for 128 so I wouldn't be tempted to get a second device to handle these tasks in the future.

I went from a 5s 32Gb to my new 6s+ 128Gb, figuring that half of my 5s was filled with pictures and that the 128Gb would come in handy with the new 12mp camera, 4K recording and Live Photos.

It might be a liiiitle bit overkill for me, but it certainly will get me through to the release of the 7s in 2 years.

You should be fine with 64GB. When the time comes that you would sell your phone (if you do) then the 128GB won't be valued much more than the 64B
