Second day with the apple watch with some decent use, took my watch off charge at 8am and still sitting at 46% at 9:30pm. I used it moderately today, to check notifications, adjust my now playing spotify glance, activity monitor as well as workout.

I got mine at 10:30, around 77% charge, obviously there was setup but when I went to bed at 11pm, it was at 10%.

I've had mine on for about 1 hour and 15 mins. and I'm still at 100% :p

Is there an actual way to check usage, like on the iPhone?

Up at 7.30, now 3pm 68% remaining. I'm still messing around with it a lot too so that's impressive.

I feel like it's getting better battery life today. Took it off the charger at 730am now it's 10am only at 96. Yesterday was at 77 out the box by 6 it was at like 30 and I had to recharge

Woke up at 8am, battery now at 81% (3pm). That's with a lot of notifications and messing around/setting up.

The battery is waaaaay better than Apple said it would be

Do we have any idea how big the battery is in the 42mm model?
I know the 38mm model has a 205 mah battery.
Should be interestng to see if they fit a slightly bigger battery. My guess is 225mah.

I am having horrible battery life. I used the watch yesterday and thought maybe I just needed to let it drain and recharge, but this morning is just as bad. I've had the watching on for 30 minutes. Used it to send 3 texts and it's already dropped to 90%. It dropped form 95 to 90 without me even using it. Not so much as even raising to check the time.
Defective battery? Dunno, but will continue to check it out through out the day.

Mine gets pretty warm until its fully charged. I'm still holding out hope that my battery is garbage, but I haven't used done anything with my watch except raise to check the time and it's dropped another 5% battery in 15 minutes. This really sucks.

Maybe some of the 3rd party apps that synced from your phone have issues and drain too much battery? Try to delete them and check again. Good luck

Spotify glance, WHAT?!!?! where and how do i get this?

Battery on Clock Faces

You can also customize several of the clock faces, and put the battery/power reserve level there. So you can see it each time you glance at the watch.

I do have the battery readout on my watch display. Just makes it worse. I'm chatting with an apple rep. Not using my watch at all and the numbers are just flying by. Looks like I received a defective battery.

Got the 38mm. Was using about 8% per hour yesterday with moderate use, so not great. This morning, after an overnight charge, the watch and charger were VERY hot to touch, and the battery had only charged to 55% after some 7 hours charging. Reset watch and charged again, this time got to 100% after just over an hour and the watch only got warm during charging. So far today, after 6 hours moderate use its at 59% so better than yesterday but not as good as some are reporting here. Wonder if I've got a faulty battery, especially after last night's fry-up!
