Im from canada and for some reason over the past couple days ive been experiencing more and more trouble with the weather widget

Can any of you test or confirm this...

Sample cities
Edmonton, Alberta
Banff, Alberta
Calgary, Alberta
Vancouver, British Columbia
Kelowna, British Columbia

And let me know?

Hi

I'm having a similar problem, cities I used to have for the Weather
New Glasgow Nova Scotia
and Amherst Nova Scotia

are no longer available.

Weather widget can't find them.

This is odd as I used to have them.

Anyone know anything that can help?

I tried those cities, and the Widget didn't change to them. It stayed on the one that came up when I opened it.

I checked the apple support dashboard discussion forum and it appears weather is out for most of the WORLD except for the US (ill hold my tongue here)...so we just need to wait it out

Down in Australia too. 🙁

By the way, I couldn't have thought of a more appropriate original poster for this topic. 😀

same over here in New Brunswick. Saint John stopped working, i switched to Fredericton as a shoddy substitute, but it stopped too, now not even Moncton works (not that I'd want their weather anyway 😛 )

Thanks, I guess I should have checked there first.

But we are so quick to answer each others questions!

Why is their website (linked directly from Dashboard) showing me my weather but my widget isn't? Do they run off different servers or something?

Good question... I wonder why weather is down everywhere but the US too.
I wonder if it's worth my time browsing through the forums at Apple.com

Bergen, Norway is down, too... 😡

It finds Oslo, Norway instead. Not very helpful as the weather in Oslo and Bergen aren't even similar... 🙄

Edit: Well, when I go to accuweather it finds Bergen... must be some sort of DNS error, or something... good thing Meterologist still works so I know which weather it is outside my living room window... 😛

I thought it was a problem on my end because it worked fine for me to go to their site. Now I will actually have to get out of my chair and look out the window 🙁

Starting to go back up - I can get Denmark, but not London or Spain. Like Killuminati I'm gonna have to look out the window (not for Spain though) 🙁

EDIT: Doesn't seem to work after submit the post. So just ignore this

Back OT... 😉

Now it seems to display the correct weather for Bergen, Norway, but it doesn't find/validate it as a location... 😕

Same here. Well, at least it's working, even if it doesn't know it is... 🙄

Has anyone else noticed that it's been down over the past few hours again? I was just wondering if it's just me.

Mine's been down too 🙁

Winnipeg

Edit: actually I just had to reenter the details. Instead of Winnipeg, Manitoba it's now Winnipeg, Canada (MB)

Mine's back up now but it's been on and off over the past few weeks. Probably just server issues or something. 🙄
