Weather Widget not working

I noticed this morning that mine were a few days stale so I re-launched the widgets ( + r) and nothing came up.

I flipped the widget over and entered the city.

Apparently they are using a new system for identifying the cites.

For example it used to be.

New Glasgow, Nova Scotia

Now it's

New Glasgow, Canada (NS)

So if you're widgets seem to be not working, enter your city again.

Ditto for Banff, Seems to have added the Canada(AB) stuff to it. Eh as long as it works again

my weather widgets arent working and im in the US!

tried closing/reloading/relaunching the dock, nothing works. it wont even pull up city names when i enter cities/states.

AND my yellow pages widget wont pull up anything. everything i enter just says, "Data Unavailable"

Whats the deal apple?!

Fixing AccuWeather widget for all locations

Im from canada and for some reason over the past couple days ive been experiencing more and more trouble with the weather widget

Can any of you test or confirm this...

Sample cities
Edmonton, Alberta
Banff, Alberta
Calgary, Alberta
Vancouver, British Columbia
Kelowna, British Columbia

And let me know?

For anyone having problems with accuWeather widget you need to add a new variable to the string. Before it was ie. CA;AB;EDMONTON

now it has to be NAM;CA;AB;EDMONTON;

You just resurrected a 3 1/2 year old thread!

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling the Widget...? So, open the Dashboard.app, select the "+" and, press the "x" next to the widget to disable it.
Then open Dashboard.app again, press "+" again, and select the Weather widget from the list at the bottom.

Weather Widget stopped working; now fixed

The Weather Widget (Intel iMac, OS 10.5) stopped working. Click on "i", flip it over, change the existing city to another city. It's working fine. Repeat this operation, and change back to original city. Everything is now restored.
