I wonder who will be the respective target consumers for the 14” & 16” MBP?
I moved up from 13” to 15” when I realised I was still traveling but much less so.
Having appreciated the larger screen area, enabling the contents of two items to be displayed much more effectively, I can’t envisage going down rather than up.
Maxim: Area beats weight as frequency of travel declines.
Does that foretell boom sales for the 16” ?
The basic models are much better at keeping value, ie, have better amortization rates. You buy a 1250 euros MacBook Pro, you’ll sell it for 500 euros in ten years. That makes for aprox 6 euros per month. A high end model will lose 2000+ euros during the same period. Thats over 16 euros per month.
10 euros per month pay for a shared spotify subscription, a shared netflix subscription and 33% of a 15gb 5G unlimited voice plan in my book.
Or an Office 365 subscription including 1Tb of OneDrive storage, so you have the best productivity suite and don’t need to pay for iCloud or more storage on all of your mobile devices, having better value retention on those too.
