iPhone 14 Pro 14 pro always on display too distracting?

The first day, it was a little distracting and I reached over to tap the side button a couple times, but overall I like it. Nice to see the time and weather without touching it. As an aside, the battery on this new 14 Pro Max is outstanding, so much better than my old 11 Pro Max.
 
It doesn’t bother me and I like being able to read notifications without touching or picking up the phone. In fact i’m already so used to it, that when the screen goes off when i turn on sleep mode, I feel like something is missing.
