Title says it all. Picked up a new in a sealed box 15" 2.4 GHz i5 MBP today for $1399. Model is "Macbook Pro 6,2", MC371LL/A.

Supplies are limited. Microcenter in Madison Heights Michigan has 5 left this evening.
 
Looks like Duluth, GA store has a few open box for $1259. They also have 4 new at $1399.
 
You got ripped off. That model is a year old.

When you compare the old and new models, the old one might be worth the cheaper price for some. Like for me, I'm a "facebook" user so I don't really need much better specs. I just like the screen size. :D

You got pretty a good deal there. :) I love the latest and greatest mentality of the enthusiasts when Apple refreshes their products. Because it always means slashed prices on products that were still considered very good a few days earlier. We've benefited from some incredible deals on iMacs and MacBook Pros through the last few refresh cycles.

Just to let you know, the refurbished ones are going for cheaper in case you want to return it and go for a refurb.
