Yeah, I hate when people rob me of two inches...

I just don't like how on some 17" MBPs, the display wobbles a bit when I type on it. I assume it's a product of the size of the display. For that reason I would get the 15"

The 17in MBP is really not too bad but I do own a Alienware M17x as my desktop replacement in my room. Now that 17in notebook is a huge black beast LOL. That's why I just bought a 15" MacBook Pro to still have some good power but more portable for my needs at work, school, and travel. I would have gotten a MacBook Pro 13" but I didn't think it would provide me the graphic output I would want for Diablo 3 when it is released.
Diablo 3 will run on a new MBP, but you'll be really disappointed. A gaming PC is far better. Make no mistake, the new Macs are great, but gaming rigs they're not. Not even close :)

Yes but getting a gaming rig means you now have to manage both your Mac and another computer and having files scattered about...blech! ;)

Thanks for your replies, I had a think about it and have decided to go for the 15". I think a 15" would be better for portability (I don't think I have a bag big enough for a 17"!). If I need extra screen real estate, then I could always buy a monitor in the future.

Thanks again for all your replies, they helped!

You could always hook up a 15" monitor to the MBP 17".
