15" rMBP is now hotter after the fix and 10.8.3

I've had my fans fire up a few times since the update for no apparent reason. The only thing I was running at the time was Chrome, but 2 or 3 tabs open and echofon. I'm running above 100 F at all times basically.

My 15" refurb i got yesterday is hot along the aluminium at the back of the keyboard and same spot underneath, mainly when watching video or backing up. No way you could sit it on your lap. Is that normal?

To what degree? Flash requires varying CPU and GPU usage and may cause high temperatures. In order to prevent the flaw in the Apple's cooling algorithms (fans do not turn on until later) I would download UltraFan.

Another hot one

I hate installing updates anymore... it's a crapshoot if you'll be stung.

My Retina MBP roars the fans when it didn't before the SMC update, and my iPhone lost battery life with iOS 6.1.3. BAD LUCK!!!
