I have this swiss gear backpack that I got a couple weeks ago for my new MBP:

So far it's been a really good backpack. Has plenty of room for books, lots of pockets for pens and other things, and the spot where the laptop goes is almost "floating", so there's not a lot of pressure on it. Here's a link to a bunch of reviews I found on Google:

When I was in college I used a regular backpack and just put my notebook in a sleeve.

Being a college student I think this is the most useful option I have a Swiss Army Backpack which has a laptop compartment idk the model but I plan to my 15" MBP w/ sleeve in it.
