This phone is not upgradeable. So I'd rather have the space and not need it than need it and not have it.

64 all the way.

Thank you! That is very helpful.

I'm thinking I can manage just fine with the 16 GB now.

Much appreciated!

I dont regret spending the extra 100 at all..Im glad I did,not i know I will have to work to fill the phone.I rather have all my photos than sacrifice space. 64 is to much. now if I had the money to spend then yea I would do it. same with apple care,i wish i could have afforded it but i couldn't .

Still curious to how iTunes Match works... seems to download songs you recently listen to into a "cache" of a fixed size.

If this is fixed at say 2 gigs, then I think 16 gig would be plenty for apps/photos/vids... Alas, we won't know until this thing is released at the end of the month... Maybe they are waiting to release to sell more 32/64 gig models?

Tigress666,

I have been wanting to give you a special thanks for your long response last week. I appreciated all the time that you, and others, took to help me choose the right iPhone for me.

In the end, I decided not to risk being sorry that I did not have enough space, so I bought the 32 Gig. Now I can relax and install as much as I want and just enjoy it. I plan to use the video camera a lot, and I did not want to find myself out of town filming stuff and having no computer to down to frequently enough.

16 gb is more than enough.

I had a 8gb 3g and only used 3gb after 3 years.
haha

If you want to sell the phone in the future, might be better to get a 32gb.
