As far as a case....I've always kept my previous iPhone naked and I'll do the same with the new one. A case would sort of negate the purpose of painting it.

The paint job looks amazing. I couldn't do it...well besides the fact that it's a little too expensive for me (although I think it might even be worth it, looks really nice), I'd hate it that my phone has a nicer paint job than my car. Maybe when I get my new car, I'll get a new phone and get it painted to match. 😀
So, how much do you all think I would get for my Colorware 16 GB iPhone if I sold it on eBay now so I can get a new 3G version???
I guess that depends on how chipped up the paint is...

You chose what you want them to paint. The more you want the more it costs! No one sees the charger so not worth the extra.

My son has a car of those colors. He isn't too much into iphones or macs but I think he would even be impressed. With the red on the screen that just seems like it is too much red. hurts the eyes.

Well, I just sold a Brand New 8Gb on ebay unlocked with Pwnage for 550 shipped. I would guess you can get 650 shipped (buy-it-now w/ free shipping). Also, ship only in your country, don't bother with international shipping unless you are good at it. I would do a 3 day buy-it-now only with immediate payment required. This eliminates the dead beat bidders that would force you to relist. List it today as Monday may break the high price trend on ebay.
You should clear $600 after fees and shipping.
Also, I have sold 6 phones now this way (new, refurb, used). All sold within first day.
