Hi,
I just got my 16 inch Macbook Pro base model,
Could you please check ghosting test and backlight test?
I have also compared with my 2017 13 macbook pro.
I don't know if it's okey or should i return?

I dont see bleeding in the 16 inch, and ghosting is very bad and common with this laptop.

All in All, it's like the same as on MBP 16. So, it's not better, but not worse.

I've been using my first MBP 16 and don't notice anything I mean I know its there but it just doesn't bother me at all, all my previous laptops were windows and they had 144hz and above but so far I don't miss it and I'm loving me MBP. I'm almost sure apple will eventually get better at that, hopefully next year with the mini LED.

But we need to be sure that mini LED doesn't have a problem of burning out + it'll cost more to produce mini LED, so MPB-16 seems to be reasonable purchase for now.

Exactly, I wasn't sure few weeks ago about getting it but I decided to pull the trigger since we have no idea when exactly we will see a new update and if its new tech I don't want to be the first one to try it, I will probably wait the next gen after to decide if I want to make an upgrade

The 16” has above-average response time, just like any other high-res, high quality display laptop panel on the market. These displays are optimized for content creation, not gaming. Hopefully future displays won’t need to make these kind of trade offs.

Yeap, I compared it with different MBP above and there is no difference between retina displays in terms of RR. I don't understand why people started paying attention to RR with entrance of MBP 16. It's the same as it was. We are just wasting time discussing it. Although it would be pleasant to be heard by Apple.
