I could use some help in figuring out where to troubleshoot next. Brand new 16" Macbook Pro, had it about three months.
Two or three times a week, I'll be using it normally (Google docs, Youtube, etc.), when all of a sudden it will completely freeze up, even the mouse. After about 30 seconds, it will shut itself off and restart.
It smells like a kernel panic, but I don't get the black screen and the 'You need to restart your computer message.' My screen literally freezes (as I say including the mouse), and then shuts itself off after 30 seconds. On reboot I'll get the usual 'Your computer restarted because of a problem', but instead of the detailed log it just says "BAD MAGIC! (flag set in iBoot panic header), no macOS panic log available". There does appear to be some sort of panic log in console (attached) but it doesn't make much sense to me.
The first one happened shortly after installing XCode 11.3.1, so I'm suspicious of that, but I already tried uninstalling and they still happen. Also tried running Apple Hardware Test; no hardware errors reported. Reset the PRAM and SMC; no luck there either.
Any good ideas on what to look for next?
