5S Vibration motor

Does anyone think the noise of the vibrator motor sounds any different from the 5 to the 5S? To me the 5S sounds louder and almost like there is something loose in the phone...

I care if it is a sign that there is a defect with the phone. It is noticeably different from the 5, but if it is an expected difference than you're right it's not an issue.

They may be using a different motor, that's all. I remember similar posts comparing the 4S and 5 last year.

This is due to the new camera lens and improved. If you try to keep the iPhone when is vibrating in the air that sound is almost gone

Besides shaking the iPhone and hearing the camera shutter. That's the only sound I hear when I focus on trying to hear it .

I actually discovered something, try holding your finger over the vibrate switch and then make the phone vibrate, does the extra noise go away?
