Lol, you gotta give the guy some credit. If everyone was like "its good enough already, not anything I can do with it", we wouldn't have macs now would we?
If the guy wants to try, let him try. Hopefully he will learn what is and is not possible and help others with that info.

Now how do I get out of the PowerPC forums?... I don't understand half the stuff here :eek:

We would be giving where credit is due. Most of the guys here have pushed their machines to the limit and very well know when to stop.

Keep on pushing everything beyond the limits without planning and preparing for consequences is plain stupid for me. More than 16GB RAM on a Quad G5 to stay on topic is basically attainable and can be done, it is just that the system would not use it. Of course otherwise you have the means to hack the firmware or can flash the OF. That is why it is called an exercise in futility.
