This is 2014, what a massive joke. 16GB is woefully inadequate, this will affect user experience.
Not sure why they got rid of 32gb.
Apple should have made that the standard.
This! WTF were they thinking. 16gb is just not enough anymore.

Who cares they have 64 and 128gb. Is someone forcing you to buy the 16gb???
Ever heard of cloud services????
I do because I don't want to pay a load more money for storage I don't need.
I'm surprised that they kept 16Gb as the entry level. But it is nice that you can get 64GB for what they used to charge for 32GB.
how is 16gb still the base line? HONESTLY how long would that last with all these HD apps pictures videos etc?
So then instead of having a 32gb at 199 and 64 at 299 they make it so they charge you an arm and a leg for the 64 gb, take out the 32 gb, and leave you with a 48gb gap between the two options???
I was going to upgrade instantly until i saw the iP+ was 399 for a 64gb considering there isn't a 32 gb at the 16gb on that phone will last a month before its full.
This is a bs ****ed up scheme to make customer pay more $.
Me too. I was hoping for the base to be 32GB and save the extra $100 but at least now the extra $100 will get me 64GB. Apple put out a big incentive with the 64GB to get that extra $100.

Smart move by Apple to increase revenue. Now all those fence sitters will come out of their pockets with an extra $100 for the 64 instead of settling for the 16. Many are like me. 16 is too small, but not by enough to really justify 64. So great, 32 is the new bottom level. Oh no, it's either 16 or spend an extra 100 bucks for 64. Well Apple, here's your hundred because 16 doesn't work anymore. Smart revenue move by Apple, crappy for the consumer.

16GB is actually enough for a lot of users. Apple will no doubt sell tons of them, so why shouldn't they offer it?
I think that's my biggest dissapointment with this release. 16gb is very frustrating.
