That's great news! I know many who have had the message "you're not eligible for this promotion" which meant you are not a newsletter subscriber. Maybe they changed the policy?

There are still some promo codes where you have to be a sub and even in some cases not all subscribers get the same promo. However, in this case the promo code is on the product page, so it's probably open to everyone.

pawtracks, I didn't subscribe to the newsletter and the order still went through, used promo code EMCKCKJ28. I just doubled checked my receipt and it's correct, 16GB for $99.98, order is being processed as per email.


Damn How I miss $99.98 the day of the original posting of this thread I purchased the Kingston 16GB for grand total of $111.13 free shipping and using the new member $10.00 off

The memory was $49.99 per 8GB x 2 = $99.98 for 16GB using the promo code EMCKCKJ28. I'm in Texas so I wasn't charged any taxes and shipping was free. :D It was for the G-Skill memory however it has the same specs as the memory you ordered.

I'm posting an update as promised. I've had the system running for a few days now and all is well. The computer shows 16GB and I do notice a bump in speed. Here is a snap shot of the specs :D:
