There are still some promo codes where you have to be a sub and even in some cases not all subscribers get the same promo. However, in this case the promo code is on the product page, so it's probably open to everyone.

The memory was $49.99 per 8GB x 2 = $99.98 for 16GB using the promo code EMCKCKJ28. I'm in Texas so I wasn't charged any taxes and shipping was free. It was for the G-Skill memory however it has the same specs as the memory you ordered.

I'm posting an update as promised. I've had the system running for a few days now and all is well. The computer shows 16GB and I do notice a bump in speed. Here is a snap shot of the specs :

I've successfully received rebates from Mushkin and had a lot of luck with their RAM. Having a bit of an issue getting it seated 100% in the iMac, though.
