1) Battery life. Excellent 5-6 Hours browsing 3 notches from the top brightness.
2) Screen bleed. None at all, Excellent screen just needs to have a bit more brightness
3) Temperatures. Very low, my 17'' Classic MBP had problems when putting it in my lap and browsing. This one is remarkable how cool it runs.
4) Coolness factor compared to the old 17" MBP. Just what you expect from a newer model... it looks much better... the classic one now looks bulky compared to it.
5) Speakers compared to the old 17" MBP. MUCH MUCH worse the new speakers... they lack bass and clarity... apple screwed this up.
6) Noise with those new fans Excellent!!! Fans only go to 5,000 rpms and are about 50% more silent... that is very very good in my opinion....
