Bright Spots?

Has anyone with the 17" notice bright spots on the bottom right and left hand corner of the display? If you switch the background to a solid color, it will be more obvious. Also the display looks pretty splotchy.

Yup. Mine was extremely bad. As I described in another thread, a call to Apple advised me to take it to an Apple Store where the genius told me that it was too dark for his liking, and that since it's so new that I might want to wait a few days to see if any product alerts come up. I just didn't want to wait so I called Apple and they captured it. I am getting a credit and buying my next Apple laptop in store.
