So the snow has finally started to fall in Central CT and they are expecting up to 15 inches by Sunday night. This is supposed to be a good one and its gonna hit most of the east coast. How much snow do my east coast friends have.

Have about 4-5 inches right now and still snowing.

Location: Classified

Looks like we have about 6 or 7 inches on the ground. It's blizzarding at the moment and I've heard some thunder.

Just heard one of the local weather gods say NYC will likely get 12-14 inches. Snow blows big time in this city.

Make it stop! Just ventured outside and my car has 2 foot drifts all around it. Will probably be three as they plow out the condo. Can't wait to get started on that later.

In Delaware, it started snowing about 2:00 PM on Saturday. It finally stopped early Sunday morning. We now have 10 inches. I can't even see any of my SVU, so the drifts are terrible. I have a meeting today at 1, and I'm trying to figure out how to get out of it.

My mom had to move her flight back from New York becuase of the Blizzard.

Dont you east coast people wish you lived in Seattle right now?

heheh NBC has a person in Plymouth and you could barely hear her over the wind.

It is BAD here really bad. over 50 MPH gusts of wind, constant 25-30 MPH wind. and we are expected to get 24" of snow now.

hahah 90% of all flights cancelled at Logan.

22.8 inches of snow in central park. this was the first snow storm that i have seen where there was thunder and lightning. It was bad around 5-6 AM. This is payback for the florida temperatures we had through january. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE SO VENGEFULL???

Second largest blizzard on record at central park.

ok question, does anyone know of a widget that tells you howmuch snowfall you have?

I can't find one on apple's site

I would try an old-fashioned widget like Yardstick. ;) Failing that, maybe Ruler. Okay, so I'm being a wise-ass, but really, is it that hard to reach outside and poke a stick in the snow?

Anyway, I'm north of Boston near 128 and I'd hardly call it a blizzard here. We have 4-6 inches on our deck and occasionally heavy wind / low visibility. What ever happened to the blizzards of yesteryear? (and I'm only 27!)

holy crap so that means I have over 3 feet of snow on one half of my driveway and less than a quarter inch on the other.

I never knew snow fall could change over 15 feet, and by such substantial amounts.

You have just opened my eyes up to more meteorology

thank-you so much

Here's a picture from my window that I took this morning. I probbly could have gotten a better picture if I ventured outside.

Not nearly as bad as last year's storm though.
