"Between the Hedges"
The new Bond film #24 will be SPECTRE
Due to be released late 2015

The 24th James Bond now has a name: Spectre, which is set for release in late 2015. The name was revealed during a livestreamed announcement event, where director Sam Mendes will also reveal the new car (Aston Martin DB10) and full cast: Andrew Scott (Moriarty on BBC's Sherlock as Denbigh), Christoph Waltzh (playing a character named Oerhauser — not, as previously rumored, classic villain Blofeld), Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, and Léa Seydoux.

Shooting locations for the new movie, which begins production tomorrow, include Pinewood London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee, Austria.

I didn't care that much for Skyfall, so I am hoping for better this time around

Of the 3 Craig Bond movies, I agree Skyfall was the least enjoyable. I realize there is disagreement, but I thought the first two were home runs. :) Hoping they can pull off the SPECTRE vibe that I remember from Thunderball. Another movie that did a great job with that vibe was The Incredibles. Quantum, the sinister organization in CR and QoS seemed pretty darn sinister, and they are still out there floating around in this Bond universe. And then there is Smersh. With Russian tensions on the rise, it would be a natural. :D

I am looking forward to seeing Christoph Waltz playing the bad guy! I love this guy and I am very interested to see what he brings to the bond universe!

My favorite bond film with Daniel Craig was by far Casino Royale....... It is actually my favorite bond film also!

I too love Christoph Waltz. For myself, for decades From Russia With Love, Thunderball, And You Only Live Twice were the definitive Bond movies, then they got silly/stupid like Roger Moore (ug) and Golden Eye Pierce Brosnan diving off a cliff to catch a diving airplane (second half of video). Sorry I just could not suspend disbelief for that one. Now those first 3 movies mentioned have a great nostalgic atmosphere, but today might seem a bit dated. I'm still impressed with the forcefulness of the Bond-Grant fight aboard the train in FRWL. :)

Now CR and QoS are the best! :D

I like Craig's portrayal of Bond, but I thought Quantum of Solace and Skyfall were weak stories. Casino Royale was a great opening movie and I had a lot of high hopes for future Bond films only to be disappointed.

Let's hope this time around things work out a little better.

I'm going to miss Judi Dench. I thought she made a great M for the modern age. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I've seen all the others, so why would I miss this one.

Judi Dench was a good M. It's a pity that Ben Whishaw is back playing Q, seeing as he really didn't do the part justice. The gun from Q-Branch in Skyfall was a cool concept, and the radio, really? It made for a good comeback at Silva, but the radio was lame. Q-Branch sucked in Skyfall.

I like Daniel Craig as Bond. Darker Bond is better Bond. To be fair I like all of the Bond movies.

Bond already had a gun which would only work for him thanks to a hand scanner in "License to Kill" (1989) ;)

I liked the movie but in SPECTRE i want a few more futuristic ones ;)

Dalton was the worst Bond. Of course the 80s bond movies sucked.

Personally I think Roger Moore was the best. I would put Daniel Craig up there as he plays the part more to the book.

Looks soft. Not as classy and elegant as the DBS, etc from Casino Royale.

You didn't like Moonraker?

I didn't like the Dalton Bond movies. Not the greatest.

Goldfinger is one of my top movies...by far. Casino Royale and Skyfall are up there too.
Casino Royale, reeeeealy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casino_Royale_(1967_film) :p

No Moonraker and live and let die never did it for me. I'm not a big Roger Moore fan. I prefer Daniel Craig.
If we are going by the original Ian Flemming James Bond character, Daniel Craig is the all time best. I don't know if the franchise would have gone this long if Bond was always a dark character.

When you look at each Bond, for the most part they were right for their time. It's just some time periods stand the test of time better than others.
Currently dark is in.

(originally $300)

Rubbish. Just to be clear, that's not directed at you but rather the website, but I got that when it first came out for $120 (and I'm guessing that the "normal" price was somewhere around $150). That site is obviously inflating the "list price" to make it look like a better deal.

With that said, $75 isn't bad :)

$75 for HD versions on iTunes and I'd be IN! :D

Yeah I know, Apple seems intent on ripping us off charging more than Blu-Ray even though the image is lower quality (and you can play the movies on less devices!) :p

Indeed. I've only bought one movie from iTunes and it ended up having no subtitles during the foreign-language bits. I'm sticking to Blu-ray until there's something better (not that it's perfect either). But we digress :)
