I can see it definitely happening by the end of the year with a whole new design maybe, but not at this MW as it just got updated...but the next update should be fairly significant...actaully, i think they may update it in a few months to 1GHZ or whatever, then release a completely new PB in MWSF

Steve has made it clear that while the "Big Bangs" will occur at MW, he wants to keep Apple in the spotlight all year long with regular updates. Speed bumps are a great way to do that. Look at the period between MWSF & MWNY this spring - speed bumped and new design TiBook, eMac, Xserver, speed bumped desktop lin and probably a few other things.

I think we'll see a speed bumped TiBook this fall - the real question is what is the "big bang" for MWNY? Has to be the desktop line😀
 
The "Big Bang" for MWNY is a G4 iBook running at 933MHz with a 133MHz bus and a slot-loading combo drive.

I wish...
