Hit the share button, and scroll over to the right side of the bottom set of icons and hit More. Enable 1Password and organize it where you want it. I put it in the very first spot.

That's weird. I had some issues where it was trying to update to a version of 4 before 5 installed. Are you sure that 5 is actually installed? Do you have the settings for Touch ID in the app itself?

iOS8 is pretty damn awesome!! I love this feature... Think I'll be making all of my passwords much more complex now :)

You are hitting the share button in Safari, and not in 1Password, correct?

Reorder of share extension is very buggy. I moved 1Password all the way to first then it goes back to last again after Safari restarts.

1Password is great with Touch ID but it's 50/50 whether it asks for Touch ID or Master Password. Bug? It does ask for Touch ID sometimes withe overlay, other times it doesn't and wants you to type it.

If you have it set to ask for password after 10 minutes, it will. Check your settings.

Also the position that it shows up under the share button keeps resetting for me. I move it to the far left and it keeps resetting back to the far right.

Aah yes, you're correct, I missed that thanks.

I'd like to get the Mac app. It's currently £34.99 on the Mac App Store. Might wait a few days, they might do a discount on it at some point to celebrate Touch ID integration.

Also, it keeps resetting it's position in Safari for me also.

Hope for the same too!

1password Safari extensions

Yes, I set it to ask for master password every 30 days, then you get the Touch ID option to come up on the Safari extension, instead of password after 10 minutes, etc. I am not sure but I think iOS keychain has to be turned on in the 1Password app as well (but I am not completely sure about this).

I don't think keychain needs to be on since I don't use that (assume you're talking about iCloud keychain?)

Re the 30 days, the settings say it will ask for master p/w "30 days after being open and unused." I hope that's what they mean, i.e., if you use it within the 30 days, it won't ask for the master p/w. I'm testing it with 10 minutes. I'm hoping that as long as I use it at least once every 30 days I will always be able to use touch.

I figured out that (at least for me) in the app under settings>advanced the iOS keychain must be turned on in order for the Touch ID to work in the Safari extension. If I flip that switch off, it doesn't work. I do NOT have keychain turned on under iCloud settings in my phone however. I know it sounds strange, but I spent some time messing around and this is what I figured out. It works perfectly now.

1Password is already on sale for Mac and iOS. I doubt they are going to discount it even further right now. If you continue to wait, the price is going to be back to the default of $49.99 and $17.99 respectively.

Yes 5 is installed. However I have an iPhone 5, therefore I dont get the option of Touch ID.

I tried restarting and all. Still I dont get the option of 1password extension in the safari share menu at all. Any idea?

Try reinstalling the app. I have an iPhone 5 as well. If you aren't seeing the 1Password option after pressing the more button, either your download got corrupted, you still have 1Password 4 running, or you are a confused Android owner wishing you had an iPhone.

Works now. I hard resettled once and it's up. Thanks

One quick question. Can u generate a tricky password with the extension or save a new login from safari itself or all that has to be done in the app and only auto fill is doable from Safari?
