You think your having issues, the damn thing is locking up Safari for me:

The operation couldn't be completed. (Cocoa error 260.) 1Password encountered a problem.

Well, I dismiss that and Safari is locked up, I have to fully quit the app to use Safari. No testing once again.

Also, if I have the keyboard on screen when I hit the Share button the level with the extension on will be overlaid on top of Airdrop and the text is all messed up.

Checking their Twitter feed others had this issue, to fix I closed both and rebooted my iPad, turns out if you don't open 1Password before Safari this can happen, kind of stupid on a mobile device.

When I logged into a site that i had changed the password and the keychain put in the old one, I manually changed it and saved it with the Safari extension and all is well.

I didnt get you. You are using both key chain and 1password? How can you manually change in the safari extension. You could type manually but how would the extension come into the picture?

1Password is already on sale for Mac and iOS. I doubt they are going to discount it even further right now. If you continue to wait, the price is going to be back to the default of $49.99 and $17.99 respectively.

Thnaks, but I'm not sure if it's on sale currently in the Mac App store. It's £34.99.

I'm willing to pay it, but not if a reduction is imminent.

On the plus side, I think they messed up IAP on the iOS App - I downloaded the free app and the Pro features are unlocked and even the settings screen says "Purchased" under Pro features.

I'm in the uk.

£34.99 is approx $55 at current exchange rate.

Are you telling me £34.99 is the discounted price?!

No. I'm just sending you to the page that gives its pricing history so you can see. Now you know if it will come down. Well you have a better idea. Nothing's for certain.

And you should be able to show it in £

Sure. Didn't mean to sound snarky, I was just alarmed at the the thought that the reduced price was £34.99, heh.

More than happy to pay for stuff I know I'll use, but I'd be bummed if I was days away from saving a tenner or so.

Great to finally have 1password integrated but the process of getting the extension in safari is pretty obscure.

Thats ok. I didn't read it that way.

Yea its a lot isn't it. I use iCloud keychain for not so important stuff. Its protected by my log in password at least. For other stuff more important I use minikeepass. I use it with a key file and password. You can use keepass on a windows machine or keepass X on a mac with the file

My guess is once the profits drop from 3rd party password mangers apple will include more security into theirs. At the moment they have no incentive because they get a cut of every sale.

I was put off by the price of 1password like you.

@Zxxv

I've been using MSecure for a few years across phone/mac/windows pc, but I don't know whether they've any plans of either Touch ID usage or Safari extensions. I'm probably going to wait a bit, continue with MSecure as my main for a while and put frequently used stuff in 1Password for convenience sake.
