Craigslist has done me great. Sold a 2010 13" for $1100 cash in January and recently bought a 2010 i7 AG on eBay for 1550 shipped decided I wanted 2011 sold it on cl for $1700 cash, no joke. I do resale like mad on Mbp. Anyway I'm getting tired of reselling so I want to keep my current system for longer I hope.

Sweet! It seems to have worked out well for you. It is sometimes harder to sell Macbooks in ebay unless your price is super low because ebay is always flooded with them.

minus ebay/paypal fees which means you spend a minimum of $300 -400 on a pc every year.

Like others have said..... CL for these things.... cash in person..... But... like you said.... even $300ish/year.... OK with me..... Bout the same as Apple care......

But I love tech....... don't own a boat so what else shall I do :).... LOL......

Honestly if your gaming for how much you can gain from a resell you are not getting anything from your current situation (or computer). Seriously. One should not look at a macbook pro as an investment. It's a loss no matter what.

If you feel your computing needs will not be met - go higher... if not go lower...simple in simple out.
