iPod touch 2.0 Preview to whet your appetite

Hey andybno1, can you by any chance tell me if there is an option in Settings for Safari that would allow Webclips to open in the current internet page, instead of opening a new one. I sent this idea to Apple in their feedback form and would really like to know if it's been implemented.
 
sorry just the same settings as before not tried a webclip yet so if u have a suggestion of somewhere to test a clip I shall
 
All these pics and yet nothing about the calendar :(. I know you can color code it on the computer and have it sync to your ipod but can you make color coded calendar events on the touch itself? That one feature would be enough to win me over. The apps store right now don't have much I like, maybe later though will see a nice word/excel editor.
 
Another thread on this has been rudely deleted. Can someone tell me if this is the beta version? And if so, is it safe to use and then update to the official version?

Did you skip the text and looked only at the pictures? :D. First post did say it was using the latest beta edition. I'm sure with apple that the firmware will be easy to update to the official firmware.

sorry I never showed off calendar I just didn't have any appointment set up in it as I never use a pc/mac calendar.

I have the latest beta build which you can see runs perfectly fine from the screenshots, I just restored and got no pink screen of death as seen in previous betas. No jailbreak was done to get this up and running

Ahh no problem. This thread is using that 5A345 build which is the beta, but I believe I read that locked thread that had the 5A347 build which appears to be the final build.

No problem and thanks for the pics. I don't create appts as well on the pc side. I like to do everything on the iPod touch.

Ah, interesting. If it's the same thread I was reading, the file I've downloaded is 5A345, so the same as this one. Maybe someone was being over enthusiastic about which version was being offered.
 
I remember someone asking about the calendar and yes I know 2.0 is now out but I thought I'd show how the calendar works when synced (inc different coloured items)
