I sent in the obvious

copy/paste
a real GPS software solution agreement with any - Garmin, TeleNav, TomTom

One I want is to be able to SEARCH in iPod - instead of scrolling/selecting letter on right column...ugh.

I can't believe people are still crying about MMS. I can see the need for copy and paste and some of the other things, but MMS is becoming a broken record.

Also, since every phone I have had for the past 4 or 5 years has had mms and video capture... It's embarrassing to have the iPhone aka jesus phone to not have features that many "basic phones" have...

Exactly. When someone goes "hey send me that picture" the only thing you can say is "my phone can't do that..."

I messaged them asking them no body is asking you a 8MP camera
just sms fdw ,mms, delivery report, search in ipod.

Very basic feature please make sure 2.2 has some of it.

I found a new feature in maps. There is now a share location button. Screenshot to come

I sent feedback requesting MMS and nothing else. I'd normally never do this but I'm beyond sick of listening to people cry about it.

Is there the option to input public transport? Googlemaps now has some public transport routes in their directions options.

Usually my response is "Okay, what's your email address?"

Who wants to look at a photo on a tiny ass screen anyway? At least if I send it via email they have the option to look at it on their phone or on their computer.

I don't really care either way, more features is always nice, but even with MMS, I'd still prefer email.

Most my friends only use email for things related to school, and most of the time when I want to send a picture, its to show someone what is happening when they're not there. It's a pain to say hey go to your computer or wait til you get home, when I'm 99% certain they have their phone with them.

I guess it just depends on the person, but before I got the iPhone I used to send about a picture a day. Not that it's enough to ditch the iPhone, it's just a feature Id like to have.

Heck no.
Heck no.

Give it up. It'll be 3.0 before that happens.

I don't think MMS will EVER come to the iphone. They could do it now, and could have done it from launch, if they wanted to. It's incredibly easy. They've just decided that MMS is the past, and email with pics is the wave of the future. (I agree)

Copy/paste could be any time. They've stated that it's on the list, and it's absolutely anyone's guess when it will happen.

Even if mms is dead and email is of the future i dont think apple should really decide that for us. I would believe it if no one used it on phones that have it, but they do. Lots of people use mms, so its obviously a popular technology. If and when people stop using mms, then it wouldnt a problem. If it really were a dead end technology, no one would care that it wasnt on the iPhone. I think the fact that so many people want it and complain about not having shows that theres still a demand for it.

A few more to add to these... ;)

They should really implement a full screen Safari. Why is that such an insane idea? It would look so much more slick if there weren't any task bars on the top and bottom of the screen, especially considering that it only further reduces the already narrower side of the iphone while in landscape mode.
