I'd wait until after E3.

The Titanfall bundle is tempting, but an online-only shooter alone isn't worth the price of admission.

Wait for a price drop on the XBoxOne to get it. If you already have a PS4, the XB1 is not worth it at full price. Get a WiiU, though, if you don’t have one yet. Otherwise, focus on the PS4 until then. No need to rush. Or you can just wait a bit to play Titanfall on your Mac (under bootcamp if not native to OSX).

anyone else seeing these weird white lines on certain textures like the beige/wood panel on the floor here?

i didnt seem to see it on Tomb Raider rental, and it seems like an isolated reproducible thing. I see it on the black wall too on that sand map in TF too

Anyone else?

i'm assuming its just graphical flaws in the development of the game, along with occasional tearing.

Well I had a PS3 and an Xbox 360 last gen, I ended up using the Xbox more but I to nd I used the PS3 for the exclusives. And that's all that matters are the exclusives when you own both consoles. See if you believe it is worth having both for.

This gen I traded my 360 and games in, put my PS3 in the cupboard and my stunning PS4 sits proudly under the telly, I have no plans for an Xbox One but you never know.

You need to think about the games now and in the future to help decided if its good for YOU to have both.

Godsdammit, I really want that PS4 later this year, even though I don't really know even why. Maybe the new Assassin's Creed game? Titanfall looks fun but I've gotten pretty badly brainwashed about the Xboxes graphical quality. I cannot afford all three consoles at the moment and I'm certain to get most out of the PS4. I just know I'll get a really loud unit...

Xbox is capable of churning out some very nice graphics. I would go so far as to say you would be hard pressed to notice the difference between both consoles at this stage. Perhaps in the future when developers start pushing the hardware further will we see a considerable difference. I've seen screenshot comparisons & can't tell much difference at all myself. Ryse looks absolutely amazing on the Xbox One.

I am simply flabbergasted at the premise of this gen not even handling games at the proper HDTV resolution. A year ago I was half-expecting both new consoles to even support 4k gaming! I've had a 1080p TV for who knows how many years by now. And yes, I count every pixel one by one, so I can notice the difference :D

I'm really enjoying my xb1.

The quality control is atrocious though. I saw some artifacts on TF that was making me paranoid I had a hardware issue and the replacement had a buzzing fan like it was hitting a wire internally, the power supply had a hum to it and the controller vibrate rattled easily.

My first xb1 had the vibrate fan noise going too sounded weird before I even got to playing a game.

Ended up returning to my 2nd xbox since it worked perfect I just wanted to be sure the titanfall graphics thing wasn't just mine.

Fwiw all have exhibited some scratch marks on the shiny top and a rough cut above the blu ray slot. It's a good thing I don't care about aesthetics at all (and will help when I inevitably get it scratched In moving, etc anyways)

Just got ghosts in the mail. Not the greatest cod
And cod is an exhausted franchise but for 20 dollars I'm content!

Getting battlefield 4 for 30!

Those two titanfall and rentals. Beyond good to go for a while.

The xb1 controller is awesome IMO. 360s feel archaic playing black ops2 after having this controller for only a week

Tl;dr xb1 is sweet if you got a good one that isn't finnicky stick with it!

I really like mine as well

I have both the Xbox One and the PS4 along with both last gen consoles (from Sony and Microsoft anyways).

For graphics quality, PS4 is way better hands down. However games seem more fun on the Xbox especially games that use Kinect and voice control. I also have a couple dance games and those are only good on the Xbox. I also like the Xbox controller a bit more. The PS4 does have Remote Play with the Vita which is neat, but I don't like the Vita controls; a bit small for me and terrible ergonomics.

I have a lot more games on my Xbox than my PS4 for the playability reasons. I actually don't have any of the PS4 exclusives, but I have all the Xbox ones.

For a few up coming games, especially racing, I'll probably get the PS4 version. Mainly for graphics quality reasons and quite a few more of my friends have an PS4 so I can do multiplayer with them.

The one big annoyance is you pretty much need Xbox Live Gold to get anything to work on the Xbox whereas you don't really PlayStation Plus. I have both subscriptions.

The other annoyance is fixed internal HDD and the lack of external storage support. I have a 1TB drive in the my PS4 and it's a third full, whereas on the Xbox One I switch games around quite a bit (especially when friends visit), that I'm always uninstalling and reinstalling games. Microsoft did say support is coming soon, so I look forward to that.
