It depends. Many people (including me) didn't see that big of a difference. It was very subtle. Other people have X-ray vision and can detect even the most minute pixel density disparity, to the point the iPad 2 gives them headaches.

Its up to you, you will have to see them side by side and decide.
I have to agree, I was not blown away buy it, I just looked at a ipad 2 at best buy, selling my 3 and getting a mini!
 
i have the ipad 3. when i first looked on the ipad 2, i didnt think the display was bad until i got myself and saw the ipad 3 in store.

This is my experience, too. I use the iPad a lot of to read pdfs, so that makes the difference quite noticable.
 
I didn't notice that much of a difference, the apple store guy was trying to show me the 2 Vs 3 side by side, and I picked the wrong one in the which looks better test :rolleyes:
I was very underwhelmed.
