HP w2207 and w2007

I just got done talking to the HP presales rep and these are PVA screens, I was looking at the local Circuit City last night and there cheap. Your going to need the HDMI to DVI cable. NOTE: The HP monitors have a high glossy screen. Also there are reviews on here where colors do not match up and issues with them.

Samsung makes an outstanding monitor, brightness ususally has to be turned down allot but still them same, there a great monitor.

Presently I am sitting with a ACD 20" display and have read all the good points and bad points and while it is expensive along with the fact that theres lots of these on eBay with buy it now for 450 or more and in outstanding condition, I'll probably lean towards that. For the people that say the ACD's are overpriced, I somewhat agree, but for the panel inside and the contruction along with that little Apple logo what did you think you were going to pay?

I watched a vidoe on you tube and Pirrillo answered a guys question regarding 2 23" ACD's next to other dual monitor setups, when you go from a monitor with a superior panel next to something that is NOT as superior you have to wonder. Going from paying for 2 23" ACD's next to DELL giving you 2 30" monitors which I believe are IPS is a big difference. While I like his videos and reviews, remember to take everything with a grain of salt and look at the overall picture.

Also Dell is coming out with Green LED backlit monitors in this month, one guy reviewed the new 24" ACD next to a 20" and saw NO difference and returned the 24" for the 20"

Everyone's need's, wants, wallets, and most of all EYES are different.

What ever works for you is all you need and should be concerned with not what the Jones.

:D
